Parking and Handicapped Accessibility
There is ample parking for worshipers in the church parking lot. There is also handicapped parking and accessibility near the main sanctuary and Family Life and Cultural Center entrances.
Bible Classes for All Ages
Youth and Adult Sunday School is held every Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Study is held every Wednesday (Except 1st) at 7 p.m. Women’s Ministry meets bimonthly (beginning January 2019) on the 3rd Sunday over lunch at 12:30 p.m. and Men’s Ministry meets the 4th Saturday over breakfast at 8 a.m. If you prefer an intimate fellowship, Discipleship Study Class is held every Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Support & Recovery
Celebrate Recovery, currently inactive at FBC, is a Christian based support and recovery program. Celebrate Recovery is for all who want hope, help, and healing. It is not intended to replace mental health therapy or a relationship with a licensed mental health professional. The Children’s Nursery is available every Sunday for infants through age 5. We are currently in need of adult volunteers to assist in the nursery. If you are interested in assisting us, please contact us.
At First Baptist, you will experience traditional and contemporary gospel, hymns and praise. Feel free to join in song or dance. If you believe God has called you to serve and praise through song and/or dance, consider joining one of our ensembles: Anointed Voices of Praise (Youth and Young Adult Choir), Hearts of Angels (Children’s Choir), Male Chorus (Male Choir), Praise Team (Youth and Adult), United Disciples of Victory (Adult Choir), Expressions of Praise (Children Dancers), Praise Crew (Teenage Dancers), Vessels of Worship (Young Adult Dancers), Men of Valor (Male Mimers), Women of Worship (Adult Dancers). On annual days and other special occasions, the choirs combine to form The Angelic Voices of FBC. Our dancers combine on some occasions too.
Join us weekly for the Prayer Call every Wednesday from 6:00-6:30 a.m. The dial-in number is (515) 604-9819, Access Code: 768074. Prayer is held every Wednesday, right after Bible Study, at 8 p.m. All services begin and end with prayer. Altar call takes place towards the end of most services. Additionally, the ministerial staff and diaconate members are assigned to visit, distribute communion to and anoint the sick and shut-in, and pray for and with them and others as needed.

The Shepherd’s Table (Soup Kitchen) is open every Monday from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the Lewis N. Watson Auditorium. Persons are welcome to come and receive a free hot meal. The Free Food Giveaway is held the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Manna House. All Wicomico County residents, with a form of identification, are welcome. This is a federally funded assisted program in which no one is discriminated against due to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or disability.
